How to find the door
Rua de Sá da Bandeira is a long street running north through Porto's downtown. It begins at Praça Almeida Garrett, the square directly in front of São Bento railway station, and runs up past Bolhão Market. Number 80A is on the stretch between the two, on the lower part of the street.
Coming from São Bento station. Leave the station onto Praça Almeida Garrett. Rua de Sá da Bandeira runs north out of the square, uphill and away from the river. Follow it, keeping the numbers climbing, until you reach the 80s.
Coming from Bolhão Market. The market stands on Rua de Sá da Bandeira. Walk down the street with the numbers falling, away from the market and toward São Bento, and stay on it until you reach 80A.
Coming from Rua de Santa Catarina. Rua de Sá da Bandeira runs parallel to Santa Catarina, one block to the west. Take any of the cross-streets west off Santa Catarina and you will come out on it.
Coming from Avenida dos Aliados. Cross east from Aliados; Rua de Sá da Bandeira is the second long street you meet, running the same direction.
